    Kildare shrugged off the disappointment of relegation from Division 2 to record a hard-fought win over near neighbours Laois and set up a Leinster semi-final against Westmeath.

    Louth fall short of promotion but Kildare relegated

    Louth recorded a win in Cedral St Conleths Park that was ultimately futile in their attempts to be promoted to Division 1, but it was a result that consigned Kildare to an immediate return to Division 3.

    Kildare outgun Carlow to maintain spot in second tier

    Kildare secured their place in Division 1B again for next season at Cedral St Conleth's Park, when defeating Carlow 3-22 to 1-19, with the Barrowsiders facing relegation back to Division 2 barring an unlikely set of results in the final round of games.

    Dominant Meath bounce back against below-par Kildare

    Meath bounced back from defeat against Cork last week to deliver a dominant and devastating display as they recorded their first win in Newbridge over Leinster rivals Kildare since 2000, coasting to a 1-21 to 0-10 success in Division 2.
